I happily ordered cocktail after craft cocktail at the Founders Bar in the name of research, trying drinks with smoke bubbles on top, frozen fruit balls in their center and unique ingredients (like tea) in their centers. The line's Culinary Center has been dramatically expanded aboard Vista, and features interactive cooking stations with induction ranges next to an adjacent classroom for demonstrations and presentations. Oceania full embraces its "upper premium" pedigree and runs with it, crafting cozy and inviting spaces -- both indoors and out -- that exist only for the pleasure of passengers aboard Vista. Were Vista to debut for a luxury cruise line, it would fit right in, both in terms of style, design and comfort.

Each night, there's a show in the Vista Lounge, either a guest performer or a typical cruise ship song and dance show by the onboard performers. One of the new shows on Vista was choreographed by Britt Stewart, a professional dancer who's worked with "Dancing with the Stars." An Oceania cruise is a destination-focused trip, so onboard activities are kept to a minimum. You'll find trivia contests, spa seminars, casino tournaments and technology classes at the LYNC Digital Center, such as travel photography and photo editing for social media.
These accommodations are adjacent to or just above the Havana Bar (open to all) and Havana Outside (a sun deck with pool and hot tubs exclusive to Havana cabin residents). These cabins range from inside to suite and can sleep four or five guests. Suites and deluxe oceanview Family Harbor cabins come with two bathrooms – a regular toilet/shower/sink bathroom and a second with a bathtub and sink – to make getting ready in the morning and evening a little easier for a family with kids. First, there's the Founder's Bar, a small watering hole unassumingly tucked away off the port side aft of the casino. Oceania called it "The Casino Bar" in early press releases, but whatever you call it, it remains the most popular bar onboard by far, the Founder's Bar specializes in craft cocktails presented with considerable flair. Teens enjoy Club 02 for more of the same, but only with their peers aged 15 to 17. The spa provides a range of services, both health and beauty, from classic massages to medi-spa treatments like Botox, as well as haircuts, shaves, nail services and even teeth whitening. I missed the two special-guest acts, a pianist and a guitarist, and the song-and-dance performances by the onboard cast failed to impress. It's a fabulous option for sober cruisers or travelers who need to rest their livers after a lively evening. The nautical-themed suite is a little more upscale than some of the other available staterooms and features a large bathroom, big bed, extra seating and a large, lengthy balcony.
